Tree Paintings

My obsession with tree bark was inspired by walks in the woods. I am drawn to the different patterns and the depth of those patterns indicating the agelessness of trees. The connections of the trees with each other and the light passing through them has inspired me to imbue them with human qualities. They are alive and responsive to each other and to myself.
